Active Ageing SA Inc is the key organisation for recreation needs and opportunities for older people in South Australia and is committed to the promotion of Active Ageing through recreation.

Active Ageing Objectives:
- increasing participation through the promotion and provision of active recreation opportunities and activities for older people
- representation of the recreation needs of older people
- training and education of practitioners who work with older people
- support and application of research

Membership Categories
Membership is open to any individual or corporate group interested in older adults through recreation, health, fitness and aged care. The membership period applies for the financial year. AAA provides Peak body representation of the industry at all levels.

Individual membership - one year $33 (incl. GST) for individuals

• 1 copy of each “Taking Action” newsletter sent to one address (4 issues per year)

Corporate membership - 1 year $165 (incl GST) for organisations

Benefits:

• Each “Taking Action” newsletter sent to up to four (4) nominated addresses of the member (4 issues per year)
• Voting rights at AGM (one vote)
• One free speaking presentation per year of membership for the organisation
• One free “Advertorial” per year in one issue of “Taking Action” for the member
• Right to advertise in “Taking Action” at discounted rate
• Membership Certificate
