HAMP (Home Activity Monitoring Project)
HAMP (Home Activity Monitoring Project) is an innovative home-based activity program that gives individuals the chance to participate in physical activity when limited options may be available. Whist the original project was funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, the program is still available in a modified format, and as a training program for organisations.
It provides a support system to help you maintain an active lifestyle from your own home.
A HAMP booklet of information will be supplied to all participants upon registration and will include the following components:
- Flexibility exercises
- Strengthening exercises
- Balance exercises
- Walking
